I recently wrote about a mistake that was made in introducing new cows and horses into the FarmVille market, and it looks like FarmVille did it again. Last night, there was a very small window of opportunity, but some lucky FarmVille players could purchase the Black Stallion in the market for 40,000 coins. The Black Stallion was only available in the market for about 2 minutes, but a few lucky players were able to buy the new horse in FarmVille. Today there are even a few Black Stallion foals being produced from the Nursery and Stable, and shared on the FaceBook news feed. Unlike the White Stallion’s foal (white foal), the foal of the Black Mustang in FarmVille, is named after it’s father, the Black Stallion Foal.

As mentioned, the Black Stallion does produce foals from both the farmville nursery, and the farmville stable. Both the Black Stallion and White Stallion can be put into the stable at the same time, but seem to give no better chance of producing a foal with both inside at harvest time.

Was this mistake by Zynga intentional? Was it being added to the market, getting ready for it to be introduced to the game in tonights update? Will the Black Stallion be purchasable in the market, or will it be inside the new mystery box this week?
